The Pumpkin Patch...visit #1.

I am interested to see how many times we will go to the pumpkin patch this fall. Lots Im sure...maybe not for more pumpkins but probably the pumpkin and sweet potato butter we have discovered! It is delish! After Carson's b-day celebration we headed over to the pumpkin patch close to our house. It is the perfect photo op. And we didnt want to waste the opportunity!
Side note: I did learn that those pumpkins that have the brown bumpy peanut shell looking stuff on the outside (forgot to get a pic) are a type of French pumpkin and are appropriately enough called...peanut pumpkins (according to the man at the punkin patch). ;)

They look like they are exactly the same size in this pic.

silly boy!

This is the total Carson pose. He points at EVERYTHING
Mimi and Poppy with the boys!

365 days....

An entire year has completely flown by! I am still not sure how Carson is a year old? Dear hubby commented how we no longer have a baby in the house...UHHH excuse me??!?! He will be Baby Carson to me for probably forever! And Bennett still says he is my baby...So there.
Carson's birthday was on Sat. and we had a lil celebration for him. BC you know....he knew it was his birthday! ;) We are having an official party when we make the trek to TN in a couple weeks. But a smash cake, balloons and some presents were a must for his actual day!
Happy 1st Birthday, my sweet (and wild and crazy) lil punkin!
The party kids!

Bennett singing "Happy Birthday" to Carson for probably the 18th time that day! ;)

All one year old gear is on!

CAKE!!!

And....he needed a spoon?!

Spoons are for holding...fingers are for licking!

Looking up to his big brother...so sweet!

Opening presents

still has the dang spoon in his hand....

WHEWWW...1 is exhausting!!
