Halfway there!?!?
Today marks the 20th week! Seriously...it can't be....I can. not. be half way. I found out really early with this one and just knew it would take forever (didn't learn my lesson with #2 I guess) But seriously...where has the time gone? I have a feeling though Aug. and Sept. will creep by...both long, HOT months and school here doesn't start back until the last week of Aug.! So I documented the 1/2 mark with a couple belly shots. Nevermind my goofy face in the second one, my photographer failed @ a proper countdown.
Here are some highlights from #3....
Size of Baby: Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana.
Total Weight Gain: 9ish…hit a growth spurt this week apparently!
Maternity Clothes: Yes and no….Gender: BOY. He may have a first name…but no middle name yet.
Movement: Yep and I think he already has hiccups…is that possible??
Sleep: Sleep is wonderful!
What I Miss: Umm…all the things I’m not supposed to have! ;)
Cravings: Watermelon!!! The boys help…but we are on our 3rd watermelon in a little over a week! And salt..eek normally I steer clear of it…
Symptoms: I am feeling those wonderful round ligaments this week! OUCH!
Best Moment this Week: The boys wanting to kiss the baby. So sweet!

It's was a scorcher!!
This weekend we had summer-like temps. 85 on Saturday and 88 today...whooo doggie!! Jackson went to his last soccer game for the season on Sat. It wasn't until 11:50, so they were already hot and tired. To give an idea of how tired B was...he sat in his little chair almost the entire game...this was huge for him! He kept saying he was "too hot mommy" No worries...we had spf 50 on and I brought our beach umbrella for a little relief. The boys both went straight to bed when we got home..can we say exhausted!?!? The rest of the day was spent in the pool, sprinkler or slip and slide! I was not a witness...I headed to the mall for some retail relief! We grilled burgers and ate dinner on the back deck! I love nights like that! It was perfect.

Again today...we ended up with the pool and slip and slide out! Jackson takes no prisoners with the slip and slide...I got some great action shots of him. Bennett not the biggest fan of it...he doesn't really like to try new things...unless it is covered in chocolate! ;)

Baby Turner!!
My sister had enough mad contractions last night to apparently scare the dr.'s into keeping her and enough to go ahead and schedule her for the c-section. She delivered "little" Turner 2 and1/2 weeks early today @ noon-ish. He weighed in @ 9lbs 3oz and 21.5 inches (2.5 weeks early my foot!!) I will post more pics as I get them! I hate I wasn't there with her...or @ the hospital...this is the first one I have missed! :( But am excited to see the whole family when we go to TN at the end of May.

Mother's Day 2011
I'm pretty sure I have said this each year but this Mother's Day was by far the best yet. It seems it only gets better with each passing Mother's Day or every day for that matter. This year my Mother's Day gift was getting to meet our newest lil peanut via 3d/4d ultrasound. We also happened to go on Robert's birthday so it was extra special. It absolutely the best gift ever!! We took both of the boys with us..(and a lot of snacks and toys and a dvd player) I was so glad we took them with us because the reactions we got from Jackson was priceless. Ever since we told Jackson there was going to be another baby he has insisted it was going to be a girl....Well... we are NOT have a girl...but
BOY # 3!!!! Rob and I were very excited about this news...Jackson, however, could not hide his disappointment and responded to the news with, "you mean it is NOT a girl??" It was priceless!!
We are all beyond excited...even Jackson is now! And just hope and pray that he is big and healthy come Oct. just like his brothers were!
 |
| Amazing Right...He is yawning with his right arm up by his head. |
 |
| He is totally in the "laid back" pose here...with his right arm across his belly! |
 |
Looks like he is sucking his thumb....he has both hands up in front of his face.

Cinco de Mayo Birthday, New Love, Strawberries and a baseball game for the boys!!
Hopefully this long post will take care of this past week and part of this weekend. Robert's birthday happens to fall on Cinco de Mayo..rough I know... although this year we didn't really celebrate the Mexican "holiday" much but we did celebrate his birthday. His actually birthday was pretty jam packed with stuff to do (more on that later) so we had birthday dinner and cake/pie the night before. The boys picked him out a birthday balloon and a spiderman balloon for his birthday. It was during Rob's birthday dinner that Bennett discovered his love of corn ON the cob....no longer is corn cut from the cob good enough...no no he likes to take on the whole corn cob like a big kid!!
This weekend my parents came to visit. We had lots planned and got everything done that we had planned...this almost never happens...someone either gets sick, or cranky or something goes haywire..Saturday after Jackson's soccer game at
8:30 (ugh) we went strawberry picking. Carla had told me about this strawberry farm not far from our house...and again she did not disappoint! I took pics when we got there and wish I had gotten a picture of Bennett's shirt when we left!! There was no white left on him!! To say he enjoyed himself was an understatement...and yes I know your not supposed to let them eat them in the patch...but the lady told us she didn't care if he ate 2 or 10 (which he may have eaten more than that!!). We came home and my mom made strawberry dumplings! YUM!Talk about feeling like summer!
Sat. night we sent the boys out to a baseball game. Jackson has been wanting Poppy to go to a baseball game with him...not sure how much of the game they actually got to see...but I know they had a great time...and ate their way through the entire game (as my boys always do).
