Egg hunt #1
We went to our first egg hunt yesterday (other than preschool). The boys did great and it was perfect entertainment Carson. The boys got peep s'more treats to take home...they loved em, but boy were they messy!! I'm glad we got one hunt in because it's raining today so we may not get to go to another one. Thanks Watkins family for having us over!

The Birthday Extravaganza weekend..part 1
Rob and I went back and forth about doing one party like last year or two. We also went back and forth about doing one at the house or at a location. (Note: last year we did a joint party at a gym. I had to do NOTHING, but bring the cake!) So ROB we thought it would be nice to do one at the house this year. Now, I admit when I get to planning things...I get a tad bit OCD and possibly have issues with letting things go. possibly. So I strated planning and asking the boys who they wanted to invite to the party. JAckson's list went on and on and on. Bennett...named about 4-5 kids. Anyway long story short. It was MY idea to do 2 seperate parties! Personality differences and age differences would have been hard to deal with in one party. So 2 parties. One Super Hero and one Buzz Lightyear. I can do this. Now, my idea of superhero was not spiderman, batman, hulk or thor. Sorry. No. We were going with the comic-type theme, not so violent, superheros. Anywho I'll let the pics do the talking.

Happy 3rd Birthday!!!
So, 4 days after we celebrated our big 5 year old we got to celebrate Bennett turning 3!! Actually his party was on Sunday so we celebrated early, but Im only doing one party post! Bennett's big day was on Monday March 12th! We again had chocolate chip pancakes and presents. No Mike the Knight before school because the birthday boy slept late (maybe a trend for the 3rd year?!?!...prolly not!) Anywho...off to preschool and a preschool party. Bennett wanted goldfish, pineapple, grapes and cookies. I may have influenced the grapes...bc we had a TON left over and already cut. BTW none of the kiddos in his class ate the pineapple! SO...after the party we went to Chick Fil A...mainly bc the previous wknd had been slightly busy and our house/no I had recovered yet. So lunch and dinner out...don't judge! Dinner was @ Panera bc he LOVES their mac & cheese. It was a super fun day and I can not believe he is 3! For some reason it is harder for me to get used to the fact that he is 3, than Jackson turning 5!! I duno why.
Happy Birthday, Bennett Boo!! We are so proud of you and love you to the moon and back!

Happy 5th Birthday!!
We now have a 5 year old in our house!! Thursday, March 8th was Jackson's birthday and celebrate we did! This boy is all about food! It made his day to get to pick breakfast, lunch and dinner. First, we started the day off with chocolate chip pancakes and presents in the living room and Mike the Knight (current fav. show) then he had a party at his preschool which consisted of grapes, popcorn and cookies. For lunch, he picked pb&j, goldfish, veggie straws and of course another cookie! His birthday was the first day of swim lessons, so after swim it was time for more food, he chose Chili's. Not 100% sure why, but Im thinking it had to do with the chips and salsa (sans the salsa). It sure was a busy day and that wasn't even his party day! I saw this idea on pinterest where you ask them questions every year and see what kind of answers you get year to year. I wrote them down and had him fill out some of it (until he got tired of it). I knew what most of his answers would be but some surprised me!
Happy Birthday, Jackson you are one of the sweetest and smartest little boys I know! Mommy and Daddy love you (along with many others) and are SO very proud to have you as ourlittle big boy!!

I heart baby legs!!
The actual chubby, chunky little legs and these fabulous leg warmers ( I'm working on a better name for them for boys though) the hubby was not quite as excited as I was. But hey, boys have very few accessories and he's only little for a while!
And there are more coming...
