We came home to SNOW!!! And NYE
When we got home from our TN Christmas we discovered it had snowed A LOT!! I'd say there was still a good 5 inches in the yard(in the shade, where no one had walked) We were excited to get out and play a little bit in it on Wednesday and thanks to Mimi's Christmas gift Jackson was all decked out in new snow gear!!
So NYE was typical for us. At least for the past 5 years. We stayed in, watched the ball drop and called it a night! To make it a lil bit special we broke out the fondue pot. We bought a "real" fondue pot for ourselves as our anniversary present because we normally go to the Melting Pot but this year it just wasn't in the cards. BTW it is pretty dang good when you make it yourself!! So we ended 2010 with a huge pot of cheese and rang in 2011 with black eyed peas, spinach and cornbread!! Here's to a healthy and happy 2011!!
