Birthday Extravaganza and More!!

Ok so this gets pretty long...but we have had a super busy 2 weeks..thats what happens when your kiddos have birthdays 4 days apart!! Jackson's 4th birthday was last Tues. We celebrated as a family all day..well the boy is driven by food so for breakfast he got chocolate chip pancakes, then we went by the Y for a bit, then he picked that he wanted to go to Toys R US to "look around" surprisingly they were both very good. For lunch I fixed his favorite, pb & j with cheetos and apples. After nap he had swim lessons and then we celebrated some more by going out for Mexican (his choice...bc he gets to eat chips there). We tried a new place by our house which was pretty good. All in all I think it was a great day for a 4 year old. He seemed very happy and content. We even forgot to open presents bc we were so busy. But he didn't even notice or care by bed time! A first!!

Only shot of the day...at dinner!!
Wednesday the celebrating continued with his party at school. He chose to have cookies (well I chose that one...he wanted cupcakes..oh well) and apples. The apples really were his choice...he LOVES apples and all fruit!! It was extra special because Daddy and brother also got to come and celebrate!

He got embarrassed when we were singing to him.
My besties from college made the treck all the way from Nashville, TN for a visit Fri-Sun. I am soo lucky to have these girls in my life. They mean the world to me...and the boys were in love with them by the end of the weekend!! ;)
Sarah and Jackson strolling.

Coolest Aunties...they brought the boys a bball goal!!

So this was the boys joint bday present...actually it was supposed to be their Christmas present....but we're not telling!

Move Kane! We're 4 wheelin!

Fun Times!
Sunday the girls headed home and we cleaned up and got ready for the boy's party at Salem Gym that afternoon. It was by far the easiest party I have done yet!! Rob's parents also came in on Sun and stayed through Tues. The boys were so glad to see their GeeGee and Papa and I welcomed the extra help!

Bennett was not a huge fan!

Jackson on the other hand LOVED it!

Look @ that face...he is working hard!!

Lil Monkey hanging around.

Going back for more!

TA-DA!
I can not believe my boys are now 2 and 4. Where oh where does the time keep going??

Comments:
Looks like they had so much fun! Didn't realize they had birthdays four days apart. Do you think that will make it easier or harder to plan parties as they get older?

We need to get together soon!
